The waves lashed against the black rocks,
Gently drenching her and her floral frock.
It was the truth she could not believe,
She only muttered, "Please don't leave me."
Her long tresses covered her tender moist eyes,
Tears were there, for it was hard to bid good-bye.
"Wished this day you had never seen," said he,
She wept even hard and said , "Please dont' leave me."
A couple held hands and beside them, they passed,
Brought them flashes of the love they thought would always last.
"Was this reality or only a bad dream," thought she.
The eyes that looked at him said, "Please don't leave me."
Last night was the time that had changed her life,
She wasn't sure through the night would she survive.
What she heard, she found hard to believe,
She ran far and in the emptiness screamed, "Please don't leave me."
Now she looked looked hard at him, no knowledge of what to say,
He pulled her into his arms and on her forehead, his lips did he lay.
She held him close, no space for even the breeze to come in between.
The only words that she could utter were, "Please don't leave me."
Gently drenching her and her floral frock.
It was the truth she could not believe,
